A vision for a multifunctional contemporary sports facility
We were delighted to help a cricket club in North Devon develop ideas for a new pavilion to enhance club facilities and provide a potential additional income stream.
Our designs create a contemporary and functional pavilion to include new separate male and female changing rooms, a kitchen and space for a café or bar, an office and meeting rooms and additional public spaces. These spaces could be rented out for events to generate income or be used for community activities.
The pavilion maximises viewing opportunities and meets all necessary ECB (England & Wales Cricket Board) guidelines.
We have blended a contemporary aesthetics with traditional British characteristics, combining brick, timber cladding and green steel detailing. Incorporating green roofs or walls further adds a sustainable dimension and enhances biodiversity. Our high-quality design detailing means this contemporary cricket pavilions sits comfortably in its setting, surrounded by the natural beauty of the club’s location.
