University of Plymouth Campus Park

Transforming the University of Plymouth’s campus centre into a beating green heart

We were pleased to continue our long-standing relationship with the University of Plymouth and with Whitebox Construction with the development of Campus Park.

This scheme forms one of the key parts of the University’s estate strategy and ten-year campus masterplan.

cp 1

It creates a green space at the heart of the city centre campus that connects all the other areas of development and investment the University has made to date. This new green space is designed to be inclusive, accessible, and sustainable. It will provide a place for students and staff and the public to meet, relax, and engage with nature.

The park sits on the site of the old Brunel Building, which housed the faculty of engineering. This has now been re-homed in the recently refurbished Babbage and Smeaton buildings, offering state-of-the-art facilities and a modern learning environment for engineering students and researchers.
